EAST ATMORE | PROJECT OVERVIEW

East Atmore Solar is an 80 megawatt (MW) solar project in Escambia County, Alabama. The project will generate electricity using photovoltaic solar panels mounted on steel racks, placed in parallel rows on the project site. The panels will be wired together and will connect to an inverter, which transforms the electricity from direct current to alternating current, then to a transformer, and then onto the electricity grid using existing power lines.
