Pine Gate Renewables Wins Gold Safety Award from North Carolina Department of Labor

ASHEVILLE, NC – Nominated by Paragon Safety Group, Pine Gate Renewables is pleased to announce its first-time win of the Gold Safety Award from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL). The Gold Award is based on the days away, restricted, transferred (DART) rate, which includes cases of days away from work, restricted activity or job transfer.

NCDOL’s Safety Awards program stimulates interest in accident prevention and promotes safety in the workplace through incentivizing employers and employees to maintain a healthful work environment. To qualify for an award, an organization must have no site or location fatalities and have an incidence rate of at least 50% below its industry’s average.
