We are seeking a talented and driven Database Administrator who will lead internal initiatives to build, test and maintain the data warehouse, databases, queries, and tables to promote efficiency and innovation across the organization. This person will also help define the structure and methodology from the ground up in partnership with development team and leadership.

What You’ll Do 

  • Recommend, build, and manage SQL data warehouse, databases, and tables in Microsoft Azure
  • Build and maintain databases for backend development focusing on connectivity of internal systems through REST APIs
  • Build and maintain databases for backend development focusing on external data mining
  • Manage Microsoft Azure SQL databases and tables
  • Build and maintain SQL queries in 3rd party applications (IFS)
  • Design and enforce data quality and standards
  • Work closely with data analysts and reporting team to build database framework and ensure data accuracy
  • Continued maintenance and improvement of designed databases
  • Assist Director of Technology in defining and publishing database methodology

Must-Haves 

  • 5+ years’ experience in database administration (technical assessment may be required)
  • Experience with designing databases for 3rd party API integration
  • Experience with SQL relational database design
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple methodologies and ability to form detailed proposals
  • Exceptional problem-solving, debugging and log-analysis skills
  • Exceptional database quality standards (use of unit tests, documentation, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid grasp of English language
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree
  • Experience storing parsed web content (HTML, JSON, XML)
  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Experience with Azure SQL Databases
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Salesforce API, Oracle API, ADP API
